2011 Event
SDA Portland is proud to participate in the annual national canstruction® event. Trademarked by SDA, members of the design and construction community work together in a unique design/build competition. Competing teams put their skills to work designing structures made entirely out of canned foods. A variety of juried awards are handed out, such as Best Meal and Structural Ingenuity. Additionally, YOU can vote for the people's choice right here our using the link below. At the end of the competition, all food is donated to Oregon Food Bank to help combat hunger in our community. Since 1997 we have raised over 408,000 lbs of food and just under $116,123 for Oregon Food Bank!
